WASHINGTON — Two days after seemingly locking up the Democratic nomination for president with impressive performances in North Carolina and Indiana, Sen.

Sen. Barack Obama's views on the State of Israel have been the subject of much scrutiny in recent weeks.

The Council of Torah Sages of Agudath Israel of America has called on the ultra-Orthodox public living in the United States to take part in the presidential elections, regardless of who they plan to vote for.
