TTJ Publishes New Book

Oct. 9, 2007

The long-awaited book Efes Biltecha Goaleinu is now off the press, with G-d's help. This 496-page book, written in the Holy Tongue, is a wide-ranging reference guide to Talmudic and Rabbinic writings on the subjects of exile, redemption, Eretz Yisroel, the Three Oaths and Zionism. It is the product of several years of research by Jews Against Zionism's staff of scholars.

The book is divided into nine sections. Section 1 deals with exile, Section 2 deals with the Three Oaths, Section 3 deals with how the redemption will proceed, Section 4 deals with the reasons why Zionism is heresy, Section 5 deals with what the end of Zionism will be, Section 6 deals with the question of living in Eretz Yisroel nowadays, Section 7 deals with future events that will take place in the Holy Land, Section 8 contains miscellaneous quotations from the writings of great rabbis, and Section 9 deals with the evidence that Zionism endangers the Jewish people.

The book contains almost no original writing, only excerpts from books that already exist. Many of these books are rare and difficult to find today. Some examples are: Tzror Hachaim, Teshuvos Sdei Chemed, Be'er Hagolah, Daas Harabanim, Ohr Layesharim, Orah Letzion, and Tikun Olam.

Efes Biltecha Goaleinu fulfills a similar function to a previous work, Mishkenos Haro'im. However, Efes Biltecha Goaleinu provides a much more extensive survey of the Midrashim and Rishonim than Mishkenos Haro'im. There is much new material, the organization is better, and the excerpts are easy to read and to the point. Efes Biltecha also includes three indexes: a subject index, an index of Scriptural and Talmudic quotations, and an index of names of books and authors quoted. With all this, Efes Biltecha is the ideal reference guide for the scholar on the subject of Torah-based anti-Zionism.

The book bears the approbations of many prominent rabbis in the United States and in the Holy Land. It is being distributed by Ner Lamoer, telephone 718-384-1324, and will be available in Judaica stores everywhere.

TTJ activists are confident that the publication of Efes Biltecha Goaleinu will inaugurate a new era in the battle against Zionism.
