American Jewry wants to hear from US Presidential candidates about American interests, not foreign interests

As the 2016 presidential race gets into motion, Torah Jews are concerned about the fact that some of the candidates, when addressing Orthodox Jewish audiences, have made a point of voicing their support for the State of Israel above all other issues.

Chief among them is a passionate dedication to strengthening our friendship and alliance with the nation of Israel.”

Why do you praise Bush?

Nov. 2, 2007

Dear Rabbi,

I was just watching the disengagement documentary on PBS and it was deeply disturbing.

I was thinking about the whole issue and how people with selfish motives manipulate political and financial situations to there benefit and to the detriment and destruction of the rest of us.

It was extraordinarily disturbing to see Jewish soldiers and policeman go into the synagogues and kick out G-D's people and deeply saddening to see the a Rabbi forced into a bus and begging for the scrolls.

What do you say about the Israeli politician Avigdor Lieberman?

Dear Rabbi,

I would be interested in your views regarding the moral implications of Israeli Deputy Minister Avigdor Lieberman's call to 'send to paradise' all elected members of Hamas. I discovered this reading a Jerusalem Post article of Nov. 18th, 2006, 'Paz-Pines: It's Labor or Lieberman'. Lieberman is quoted thus, "They...have to disappear, to go to paradise, all of them, and there can't be any compromise." With heart-felt apologies in advance,

Are the settlers of Gush Katif Zionists or anti-Zionists?

I am very intestested in learning the truth of this matter that you are presenting on your website, as well as your thoughts on my question stated here. Thankyou very much!

What is your view on the Agudah's protest against the Iranian president?

Dear Rabbi,

Shalom Aleichem. I am a chossid. What is your position on the demonstration yesterday by Orthodox groups, including Agudath Israel, against the Iranian president on his visit to New York?

Thanks, Nuchem

Dear Nuchem,

Acheinu Bnei Yisroel! Heed the Call of the Gedolim and Do Not Provoke World Leaders!

Why are the Zionists concerned now about the Al Aqsa dig but not about digging graves?

Sep. 6 2007

Dear Rabbi,

Re your web site's current news about the Zionist outrage over the Al Aqsa digging,

it's interesting that the Zionists are concerned about possible damage to the relics near Al Aqsa,

but they are not concerned about desecrating graves by building a highway through them, or about digging up bones and considering them archeological artifacts.
